• My name is David Dean Rodrigo Tostes-Ribeiro McLaughlin.
• I am a Brazilian-American director, writer, and cinematographer based in New York City, currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Film & Television at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
• Growing up all around the world, from Brazil to France, I love including a diversity of opinions in my work and am always game for a challenge in subject matter, form, or anything else.
• I have four years of experience directing and writing short films. My latest film, "CRUCIFYMEINMYADIDASTRACKSUIT" was nominated for Best Experimental Film (Student) at NFFTY 2026. I have worked as the cinematographer on dozens of shorts and one feature film. CV on request.
